Hi, I’m Camille.
Designer, developer, former dancer. I build websites in Minneapolis for people whose work has outgrown their site.
I came to design as a creative first. The stage, the road and five years in product design taught me the same lesson from three directions: it has to work, not just look good.

How I got here.
I. The stage
Reading the room
I have a degree in dance, and what it really taught me was people. A show gets made by choreographers, dancers, singers, theater folks, videographers and photographers, all working differently and all needing something different to do their best work. I learned to read that quickly: who wants to talk it through, who wants to be left alone with it, who needs to see something before they can react. Building a website with someone asks for the same thing.
II. The road
Only what earns its place.
In 2023 I moved into a van for thirteen months. Up and down the country, through Montana twice, and longer in Texas than planned because the weather decided for me. I was designing full time and mentoring at the bootcamp I graduated from. When a layoff came, I learned how much I loved working for myself. Living small taught me to keep only what matters.
III. The system
It has to work.
After the road came a product design role, and five years inside tech teams. I spent them designing alongside developers, which is how I ended up building too. Now the person who designs your site is the person who builds it, so nothing gets lost in the handoff. Looking good is the easy half.
